A Bountiful Harvest

harvestThank you to all the families who came out to share in good food and entertainment with us during our Harvest Fest. A special thank you to everyone who lent a hand or donated a dish to help this event come to fruition! We say it often, but we truly cannot do it without your help.

5th Grade Update

bake saleOur Annual 5th Grade Election Day bake sale was another success thanks to the many parents and community members who helped support the 5th grade. The one and only Sandra Nachtmann, former AmPark parent, contributed homemade chili for our sale. Her contribution to our AmPark family meant so much to us!

The Annual Holiday Wreath Sale continues. Visit threeriversfundraising.com/fund/ampark5thgrade to purchase your holiday wreath or many of the other handmade items offered. Feel free to share the link with friends, families and coworkers! Place your order today and support our 5th grade!

Picture Day Update

cameraBy now, parents should have received instructions to viewing their child’s school picture. If you have not, simply go to http://tinyurl.com/amparkphotos2016. Your online code is your child’s first and last name (no space) and grade. For example: janedoe3.  If you cannot view your photos, contact the company directly at saycheesekidz@gmail.com. Retake day is scheduled for Friday, November 18th. Sibling portraits are scheduled for this day as well. If your child needs a re-take, please email them with your child’s name, grade and teacher’s name.

Check out the 2016 Harvest Festival Donation Request Form for information on how you can help make this year’s event better than ever.

Spell Check Pledge Form

spellcheckThursday, November 10 is the date for this year’s Spell Check! Participating students study 50 words, collect pledges for each word spelled correctly, and then take the Spell Check test. This event helps students to improve their spelling skills and raises funds for school needs and projects. Pledge forms are going home in students’ backpacks, but you can download the 2016 Spell Check Pledge Form here, too.
