Greetings Parents, Partners, and Administration of AmPark,
What a wonderful and exciting year this has been for the Wellness in the Schools program. We had so many new things to explore. The Wellness Committee Students created their own signature salad dressing. Additionally, AmPark started a Garden Committee with parents and students. We gained a Hydroponic Tower Garden through a grant written by WITS. There was so much to learn from tower garden and so much left to learn next year.

AmPark’s Annual Spring Arts Festival was a huge success! Thanks to Ina, Josh and Brian, the performances and artwork were outstanding! We had special guests Assemblyman Dinowitz (who gave us the Orff instruments) and Councilman Cohen (who gave us a technology grant) stop by to congratulate us on our success. We really should be proud of what we do!
Thanks to an outstanding job from our Nominating Committee, and parents who attended Wednesday’s General PA meeting, a new Executive Board has been set in place, along with School Leadership Team (SLT) members.
