We would like to send a special thanks to Principal Christine and Assistant Principal Kelly as well as the AmPark teachers and staff and our AmPark families for their support of our Super Hero Book Fair. We also want to thank the families who donated books. Everything went over really well. We specifically thank Shannon H, Evelyn F, Brenda T, Liz D, and Maria P for helping make this a total success. We earned $6,302 in Scholastic sales and $65.95 in donated books sales for a grand total of $6,367! We look forward to our next fair, which will promote summer reading. It’s all about supporting and promoting the love of reading! Thanks again to one and all!
Our next Bake Sale will be on March 24. Once again, parents, we are counting on your support on making our Bake Sales a continued success. We have been doing a great job now that we offer breakfast items during AM drop-off and treats in the afternoon. As discussed in our General PA meeting last week, we need to raise funds for our WITS program. The kids are learning so much from Chefs Marion and Laurielle, we have to do what we can to keep the program going! Please send in donated treats and don’t forget to send cash with your child. All proceeds will go to continue funding WITS!

A special thank you to the following parents: David, Shanti, Elizabeth, Jill, Crystal, Cynthia, Sara, Beth, James, William, and Frances. It really takes a Special Village and we’re so glad that you are part of it!

AmPark definitely has talent! Over 20 individuals and groups performed, offering a terrific show with singing, dancing, comedy, and a little jiu jitsu. Host Elizabeth was fantastic, encouraging everyone to shine. We even ended the night with a group dance-along to “Watch Me (Whip/NaeNae).”
AmPark’s next Movie Night, featuring The Peanuts Movie, will be Friday, March 18. We need parent volunteers, donations, and contributions! Check out the Peanuts Night flyer for details.
