High-Spirited Dancing

dance2Thanks to everyone who came to the Spring Fling dance party on Friday, May 9. Lots of families turned out and it was a rousing, high-energy success. Many kids were decked out in party finery and had a great time dancing, jumping around, playing with balloons, hanging out with friends, and noshing on pizza, chips, and homemade smoothies. The loud music was apparently too much for our poor old school sound system, which gave in under the relentless dance beats of Chad’s super party playlist, so we hope to be buying a new one in the next couple of weeks. If the intention was to let kids unwind and relax and burn off a little pent up energy after several weeks of intense testing, we’d say “mission accomplished.”
